Cold Therapy
Apply cold for:
strains or sprains
visible swelling or inflammation (tendinitis, sprain, superficial burn)
bruises or contusions
other muscle and joint injuries
Cold will:
prevent inflammation after the injury
prevent bleeding
reduce muscle contractions and spasms
relieve pain
Place MyoPak in the freezer for about 1 hour before use. Wrap in a thin cloth and apply to the affected area for about 10-15 minutes.
Heat Therapy
Apply heat for:
chronic or recurring muscle pain
chronic or recurring joint pain
muscle stiffness or spasms
Heat will:
reduce inflammation
increase blood circulation
relax muscles and increase their elasticity
Place MyoPak in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Wrap in a thin cloth and apply for approximately 10-15 minutes to the area to be treated.
